SAMBUCESE WINES
A collection of six wines from Verde Imports. I designed each label based on patterns I discovered in the local crafts and architecture of Sambuca di Sicilia, where the wine is made. The look is rooted in traditional Italian artistry, but clean lines and bold colors give it a fresh, modern vibe.
The pattern on the Cabernet Sauvignon is pulled from the painted ornament on the Municipal Theatre L'Idea.
The pattern on the Grillo is a flattened interpretation of the stone-carved ornament on Chiesa Madre di Sambuca entrance.
